gearbox fluid?

does anyone know where i can find the gearbox fluid in that very busy engine bay of mine? when serviced 6 months ago, i was told that it was low and i just want to check that its still at the correct level.

any help would be greatly appreciated,

The filling point is on the front face of the gearbox somewhere between half way up and the top :? It's not the easiest of places to try topping up, unless you have a long spouted funnel I think it's a 1/2" drive plug (maybe 3/8th tho )
