Gearbox info needed

Heres Mr Gearbox everybody :lol: , and he's broken again

I've just taken my box to bits and as i thought 2nd gear is stripped (Arrowed in the picture ) All the teeth are missing off the small gear on the input shaft and a few of the teeth have been taken off the bigger one.

Luckily thats all that got damaged, all the selector forks/syncro's are ok and the box wasn't making any noise before i took it out

How much would these 2 gears cost to buy from Nissan or wherever :?:

This pic is of the last box i destroyed incase anybody wonders why the gears i've arrowed aren't actually stripped

if it second gear secoundary gear that rotates freely is about £180
but the 2nd gear in input shaft is fixed so youll need a new shaft and i think they are about £400

Cheers Mike. Both gears are broken theres no way i'm spending that sort of money on the box cos it'll only break again :roll: :lol:

I think i'll just have to get a supply of 2nd hand gearsets, then when i break it again i can just whip the box off and replace whatever is broken :lol:

i see your problem..someone fitted the box in the boot
