a par box is 2500 once you add tax etc. and then you still gotta get it fitted!
where did you get it sorted? and did you just get a standard rebuild?

new boxes from nissan are £1400 ,not sure if that was plus vat or not but i think it was.

cool, i just assumed that cos the altanator is over 300 and the aac is expensive and so is everything else.. that the gearbox (big part of the car!) would be lots!
the bonnets are not a lot cheaper than 1400!!!

Mine's got a bit of rust on it and it's in an awkward place to fix (couple of hundred quid's worth of work apparently) so I had the brainwave of just getting another bonnet. My local Nissan told me I'd be looking at about £1200...
Now if someone in Reading could make a really nice carbon fibre bonnet for about a third of that price I could go that route instead. Oh if only... :roll:
