GTi-R Equivelant?

I don't think it looks as nice but it damn well packs the power.. being small 3door, pushing 210hp @ 6000rpm as standard with a big roller bearing capable of 400hp ... :shock:

But does it come with LSD as standard?.. what's the weight on these things?

I've never heard of it before!!!

Friend of mine has one, and the gearboxes are worse than the R's.

I had a look at them, when I was after a turbo jap car.

Not sure what put me off, but I wasn't won over and I also read about gearbox issues.

there are good things about this car but very very weak box. once u up the box u'l be going through gear box's i had 2 of my friends that had one n they couldnt do much apart from leave it near standard.

Well I like the fact that the LSD is standard.. if it had a good strong box I would be quite intrigued to actually buy one and see what's what.. but I've had enough of cars with box problems to last me a lifetime and I'm sure it's only the beginning for me and my project lol.

looked at a few of these before buying a gtir, interior was just like the 1.6 turbo so just looked like an early 80s car.the 1.6 had 1 major flaw in that it was a bit unstable cornering at speed this was fixed to a certain extent in the 1.8 version but it was still there.
