Gti-R wont start

Came to start the pulsar today today before work, got nothing just turning over normally but not firing.

Took a spark plug out, getting a strong spark. Removed fuel supply pipe, nothing comming through while trying to start. Fuel pump relay is clicking when the ignition is first on.

Getting a supply to the fuel pump relay, tried bridging with a piece of wire - still no fuel. Disconnected the power to the fuel pump from the top of the tank seem'd to be getting 12v sometimes but it seem'd abit intermitent couldn't tell if it was us not holding the test leads on right on the connector (It was snowing + dark) Anyway, removed the fuel pump and put a supply to it outside of the tank - and it seems to work....

The car does however have an immobiliser which we guess will be somewhere between the fuel pump relay and the tank itself.

Has anyone got any diagrams of the wiring to the fuel pump ? Tomorrow we are setting about looking for the immobiliser. It's also an import if this makes and difference what so ever.

Any advice welcome.
Thanks, James.

When you turn the key to ignition ON, the ECU will switch on fuel pump (via a relay) for a few seconds only. On cranking, the ecu will switch fuel pump permanently ON. So maybe thats why you are seeing an intermitent signal on ignition ON.

This is first page for a diagnostic proceedure for the fuel pump electrical system.

Sorry people i forgot to update this.... we found the problem, there was a melted junction box under the rear seat which was causing no power to get to the pump ... So its now back up and running ! :D
