GTiR/N15?

Evening people..

Im Cris.. 16.. Syd.. Im new here and hope this is the right place to ask this..
Im getting my old mans 1.6L N15 Pulsar Hatch sometime soon.. and I dont wanna stay with a gut-less auto..
Would a GTiR driveline fit in my hatch?.. make it AWD? It sounds like it should, same series and model..
Would it work?.. Any sugestions GREATLY parreciated!..

in a word: no

the gtir is from the n14 family (not n15)
and even if yours was n14, the floorpans are different (ie. running gear would not fit)

afaik the only conversion of that sort has been done by taking an entire gtir driveline/floorpan/lowerchassis and basically sticking an n14 body on top of it - but for the costs involved there is no real reason to do so (and your still stuck driving a common-looking old n14 with no rally heritage)

i'd say sell the pulsar and get an old rwd manual of some sort (for about the same price and insurance, like a non-turbo s14 silvia), gain some decent driving experience over the next few years (high powered cars in young hands = trouble) while you save up, and then just buy the real deal when you have the sklils and a decent income behind you (they are not really cheap to own)
