....got one of these big heavy bast'ds on their motor ?

It's a Protech Motorsport 'direct fit' manifold. Looks the b00bs etc but i've just noticed that one of the stud ports looks a little too close to one of the bends, check below

If you have fitted one of these, how did you get around fitting the stud for this section ?, cause i ain't got a fooking clue. :?

TBH it looks like its off centre and has been welded slightly in the wrong position :?

that'll be a biatch to fit :x

If you do a trial fit and the stud doesn't hit the manifold you'll be alright. You'll just need to hang it in place and put the nut on the thread as soon as it appears and tighten it progressively as you move the manifold back.

If it does hit, then send it back

Cheers buddy, will try and give it a go at the weekend (if i'm not still to pissed). We fitted a manifold to my little brothers only a few weeks ago with about the same clearance as the s0d above and got it on no probs so fingers crossed. If all goes well / i make an effort, i'll post pics of the finished article.
