Head gasket and arp head bolts

I've just put a cometic 1.3mm head gasket and arp head bolts in my gtir just wanted to ask what everyone think of them? I will be aiming at pushing about 450bhp, will it hold okay?

Good luck..might work might not...arp and cometic on rnn14 are very hit and miss, cosworth hg and stock head bolts will hold to over 600hp.

I'm with The Doc on this. - Admittedly it's not something that I've got personal experience of, but the Cometic gaskets don't have a goo reputation on this engine; probably they use the same design for the other (longitudinal) versions so the fit isn't quite right.

Maybe it's the same problem with the ARP head botls; they're not quite the right length for the 54C so don't do as good a job as the Nissan part...

Things change though, so maybe they're better now than they used to be and there's nothing to worry about.

I had to replace arp's with standard bolts as my head lifted

Never used ARP due to previous issues.

I did use a Cometic, it failed within 9 months.

I only recommend Nissan rod bolts and Cosworth head gaskets
