Hi guys, just wondering where the heat resistor is? I need to replace mine as settings 1, 2 and 3 dont work on my fan. But i dont know where it is 
You mean the fan resistor?
Its a small block held in with two screws under the glove box and mounted into the fan enclosure.
It should have a 4-pin brown plug and a couple of wires going to it.
Its a generic N14 part (ie. not GTIR-specific)
Pull out the old one and you will probably see some scorch/burn marks on the soldered tracks.
