help please a few probs i am having...

very new to the jap scene and this is my first R

couple of probs i have

1.the interior fan heater only works on full speed ie 4

all the others seem "dead"

2.i have a misfire,it was clearing but now wont seem to starts ok no smoke etc etc but missing like a pig,got iridium plugs on their way,any other suggestion,i think it running f rich as its very poor on fuel and the exhaust is always sotted up

again no oil or water use,no smoke and good oil pressure etc

thanks for any help/advice in advance !

i have a few other ickle probs but this would be a big help for now

the usual route of plugs, rotor arm and dizzy cap usually sorts out the missfire - and they are piss poor on fuel :cry: give her an oil change and replace the fuel filter. i've had poor running due to a split hose/boost leak. sounds like you need a new fan switch mate - give pulsar2002 on here a PM, or try jimmy - these guys usually have spares kicking about :wink:

resister card controls the heater fan speeds have replaced one on three diffrent nissans. bit of a known problem with nissans think i payed about £34 from s.e. nissan befor thay went bump.

Common problems for the misfire then non starting are fuel pump dead, Power transistor (ignition amplifier) dead, or rotor arm/dizzy cap problems.
