hey all,

Can anyone help me? My R is constantly idleing at 1500rpm or just under, does'nt make a difference if the engine is hot or cold. What is causing this and how do i fix this problem as its anoying the hell out of me. Its like an automatic choke being on all the time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hi there dude i 2 have the same problem i try where the cable comes out off the tube near the spring what moves it back there try so greese or somthing like that there might b some crap there blocking the free movment off the cable i did and it work so give it a go hope this helps u out good luck pete :D

Have you tried adjusting the idle control screw? :? Mine used to tick over at 1300 RPM till i adjusted it, still ticks over slightly too high coz the throttle linkage is a bit bent! Probably due to problems someone had with it in the past :roll:
