does anyone know if you can get wheel studs out with the hub still on the car? o do i have to take the hub off?

i have a set of hi spec brakes but the wheel does not clear the caliper, so i need to fit a spacer but obviously need 2 fit the longer studs

all help appreciated

did you get any further advice on how to remove the studs mate cos im going to be getting some longer studs soon, so im just seeing how other people have got on with fitting longer studs in the past.

it seems that on the search no-one has answered the question as to how far you need to strip the wheels down to get the studs out :? :?:

ive just had a PM from shaun and he's basically given me the compete run down on how he sorted his mates R out, now ive read it a couple of times it doesnt sound quite so daunting, but due to the age of our cars, plenty of wd40 will need to be applied to help get them nuts loose :!: :!:
