High idle

hi ppl , have recently rebuilt my r engine,the problem i am having is it idles to high around 1500rpm,have checked for trouble codes and none show,checked the timing and its spot on,help

How's the TPS?
What state's your IAC valve in, and have you adjusted the idle screw on it?
What's the dump valve like, or any of the other vacuum lines?

This is an age-old question and you need to check try all the little things yourself to work-out which one(s) it is. - May I suggest using the search tool; as these have been covered many times already?

So you've seen the way my wife starts the car then? I keep telling her that just because it worked well on a Datsun 120Y she doesn't need to do that to a fuel injected car. :roll:

you'll probibly have an air leak somewhere, like Pobody said it could be your BOV or other places
