hello you lot i was wondering what is the best drop i can drop on my R ON 17s I SPOKE TO SE and he said only 25mm. any ideas?

mine was -40 without any probs......................probably not best for handling but then u wouldnt be on 17's if u were that bothered

Mines dropped 30mm on 16" and I feel thats a little low esp with my cusco 4 point lower mount, smacked the floor a few times. Before fitting that it was the Mongoose flex pipe that took a battering

They advise no lower than 30mm on the R coz its gets upset after that

Mines lowered 35mm, with 17inch wheels, looks great and handles unreal but its a bit hard on back roads.

A guy in my area is driving a _low_ sunny. He has mounted -40mm springs, and even cut a round off the springs. He's driving on 17s. :shock:
It scrubs a bit when turnig hard, but he says that the handling is excellent.
