hi guys..

I want rebuilt my R with:
-arp head and main studs
-arp rod bolts
-tomei 1,2mm hg
-hks 260° cam(not sure)
-acl calico coated rod and main bearings
-new oil pump
-new water pump
-new all gasket kit
-new chain and tensioner
-std turbo with 360° rebuilt
-z32 maf
-700cc injector
-xs power fmic
-doughtboard with modified eprom
-new pistons rings
-rocker arm stopper

I have just:
-walbro fuel pump
-lumenition spark lugs
-msd coil
-full mongoose
-GReddy type R bov

I want runnig at 1,4/1,5bar boost..
how much bhp second you?

That's alot of work just to run a standard turbo.

It won't last too long at that boost.

With all that work, why not fit a bigger turbo too?

its a bit pointless having a z32 700s, and no bigger turbo, ie 3071,you could get 330ish without z32 and on standard 444s, and t28, they would of course be more or less at 100%duty though:cry:
get yourself a 3071, and your laughing.
400 bhp mark all day, and good torque figures with your 260s.:?

Have you still got the standard turbo elbow? I have similar set up to you and it made 350 BHP at 1.3 ish bar, but i have 3" elbow/downpipe. It only made 319 BHP at 1.6 bar with standard turbo elbow so massive gains to be had. All these were done on standard MAF and cams.

I'm hoping for around 370 when my haltech is mapped to 1.5 bar. But then i run it normally at 1 bar to save the tubby!!

I don't have MSD, and my injectors are only 550's. Same turbo as you though.

hi !

i have nearly the same setup.(only 800er inj and 272 cams)
get an 2871R with 2.5" inlet.
it fits with standard manifold,so there is not much work to fit it.

actually it runs 1.0bar and should have more than 300hp.
i plan 1.6 or 1.8 bar to get around 400hp.

dont you install other pistons ?
and you dont need msd.

I have change the std coil with msd because my std coil was boked..

I have new JE 87mm piston,but I want install they,when I rebuid a new motor,with cam 272,pauter rods,gt3076r turbo and a lot of racing components
