:oops: can anyone help im in the process of changing my slave cylinder and i havent got a foggiest wot im doin can anyone give me step by step instructions it lookss pretty simple but im un sure how you get the clutch fork of the old cylinder does it just pull off the end of the the rod i really want to mend this myself as the garage wants 150 notes to do it and it looks a ppeace of piss :twisted:

Clamp the supply pipe, crack the pipe joint, remove the 2 bolts holding it on....the rod isn't connected to the clutch fork in any way, it just sits in a recess (IIRC!!!!) unscrew the pipe

Fit the new one in reverse order, grease the part of the slave that contacts the clutch fork and then bleed it out

Its a piece of piss to do :wink:

Just to add, you may wanna do the master cylinder too while you're at it, to save you doing it all over again in 2 weeks time :wink:
