input shaft

well ive not quite sure about this so i need some help of one of you guys please i've got the box out and if its locked up as if it is in gear and i hold the driveshaft so it cant move should i b able to turn the input shaft .if not what do i need to do is it a new box or what? please can someone help asap cheers adam

Did you drop the box or put it down hard on the floor ?, Because happened to mine and Bernie helped me fix it over the phone, It maybe the same thing :? ...

It was something to do with the gears moving out of position and the selector not being able to line up any longer, If I remember properly, I'd phone up the gearbox man matey....
