Hi guys was reading through a copy of fast ford:twisted: (sorry we have a concourse s2 Rs Turbo and 2.8i Capri special) in the house hold, and came across an Anglia with the sr20det fited from a sylvia, now then it was running affair few mods but noticed one of wich was, and i quote "Astra GTE" fuel pump, could this be a posible cheaper upgrade as aposeed to a walbro??
il try and get a copy of the article up, ps theres a mk2 escort local to me with an sr20 conversion, seems to be geting popular with the old skool ford boys

walbro are tried and tested.. I know i would not risk my engine putting a gte pump on the car,, anyway walbro's are not expensive,,

From my 2 litre nova days im sure its the same fuel pump in a astra gte and a cavvy, calibre turbo. Im sure thou this pump would not suit a modded pulsar mayby a standard one? Like Saddler said walbro are pretty cheap and work well.
