Is a 5" goose louder than a 3"?

Cant decide which to get lol. 3" is a bit small for me, while 5" is OTT

I think so, a bit at least.... my mate had a 2 incher (ooooh sailor :lol: lol) but mine seems slightly louder.

The three inche tail pipe has the baffle in the tail where as the five inche has a baffle incorporated in the exhaust further back.So it really depends on the baffles.

go for a 5 inch mate...It fits the car perfectly and looks good too. You often hear people saying look at the size of that exhaust 8). 3 inch is too small in my opinion.

ive got the 3" tail piece but have a 5" system, its much more softer/quieter with the 3" one on, but it looks crap imo! so ive got the louder better looking 5"er on mine! :lol:

Pesronally i prefer the 3 bit more subtle and blends in, 5 looks a bit too big for the R in my opinion

Buy a 3" exhaust, and if you don't like the look, tape on an empty bean can, Saxo stylee :lol:

If its too quiet remove some of the baffle or drill holes in the box. :lol:
