knocking at low revs

had oil change couple of weeks ago (nissan recommendation 5w30) all seemed fine.
Had hard run few weeks later and developed knocking/tapping noise when accelearating slow or hard from idle up to 2500rpm. could this be due to the oil?

Hi mate,dont want to be the bearer of bad news,but it sounds as though you have a big end on its way out

hope its not going to be too xpensiv.
could be related to the fact that one of my boost pipes came loose the other day and was overboosting

could be mate the other thing is most peeps on here run with thicker oil in theres a sticky up about it
