Knocking

My R knocked at 148 this evening, what does this indicate?
normally knocks under 10 :shock:

Just the once?

Sometimes it can pick up on other sounds and register as knock, but I would keep a close eye on it incase you have a problem.

its just happend the once and the car jerked a bit when boosting, then afterwards went back to normal and stopped knocking :?

Were you going round a corner? Could have been tank surge causeing you to run lean for a sec.

yea i was going around a bend
but ive never had this happen to me before :shock:

Sounds like it was fuel surge, Were you low on fuel?

First time it happened to me was frighting cause the backend stepped out without warning.

I had a similar amount, Its not uncommon in the R.

I think you can get anti surge tanks to stop it, but personaly... anything that slows me down into the bends is a good thing

Im only guessing this is the problems, if you were giving it into the bend, i would assume im right
