hi mate i have one am i right in saying there is two because if so i have the one that goes in the standard cat if thats any help.

Think thats the temp sensor bud

cheers jonesy i thought it would be one of the 2.so from what your saying that would measure the exhaust gas temp then.

Yes it brings a warning light up on the dash, not sure what temp it does that at though

so what would be the worst case scenario if it wasnt connected.

You may have a warning light on all the time, but that might not be the case, im sure mine was disconnected and it never brought up the warning light. Depends how it works eg open or short circuit i suppose. So no problem leaving it disconnected
