lash adjusters

can someone tell me what a lash adjuster is as i've never come across this b4 and whanted to know what this is and how u adjust them as i'm gonna have to know when putting thes thing back together

It's for adjusting the lash, you probably need a spanner or a screwdriver to adjust it.
