light plug colour

Hi Guys,

Just a quick question, checking my plugs today and found that number 4 is lighter in colour than the other 3. Anyone know what would be the typical cause of this - injector problem?

Also, anyone got a cheap S/H exhaust for sale, as mines given up the ghost today :sad:

yes could be injector prob or wrong plug gap

pm me to let me know what exhaust bit you need as ive some in stock

Lee, swap an injector and plug around and see if it moves. If it doesn't you may have other problems.

Think i need to swap the injector round - makes sense.

after 20 miles of 'spirited' driving, I checked the plugs and found 3 a nice light tan colour and number 4 was rather white. This was also the piston that had the broken / melted ringland........since replacing the piston and having the valves re ground looks like this weak runing on number 4 is still there.. hmmm sorry to be thich but can someone give me a step by step on how to replacean injector?..........cheers

oh btw. are single, standard used injectors readily available?
