Lights out!

Does anybody know if theres a fuse that covers the rear number plate light, rear side lights (not brakelights they still work) and dashboard lights (including the three standard gauges)? Fitted my cd player yesterday and none of these work now :roll:

There is a fuse, but check that you havent used the "lights on" feed into the stereo thats dims the display as an earth (its an earth when the lights are off, and live when they are on) quite a common mistake, will blow the fuse

does that come through the standard nissan plugs for the stereo?

yep, in the past ive mistaken it for an earth, didnt notice till i switched the lights on....doh!
