Silly me thougt I'd be clever and replace my small hoses with new as some were split. I know now that I've binned the restrictor housed in the hose from the plenum-to-top mount 
This may explain the low boost if I so much as barely open the bleed valve! Is the restrictor just a plug with a small hole which I can make myself or is it some fancy device...? Grateful of any help :?
