Mines reading a bit lower than normal in all conditions. Would like to get it checked with a manual gauge for peace of mind, is this something that can be done easily myself or best left to a garage?
If you can use a spanner you should be able to do it yourself. Normally you just need a tee piece to fit into the same place the factory sender is and fit the mechanical gauge line into that.
Alrighty then, specifically how low is it? Are you talking just under 2 on idle and just under 4 during normal driving OR you don't feel the start up pressure is correct etc?
It never drops below 1, normally about 4 on start up then drops to around 2 when warm, what concerned me was it sometimes sits at around 2 when upwards of 3k rpm... I use millers 10w60, cheers
