I have been told the ground to the MAF is a common problem on the R, and I think my R is suffering from this.

How do I check/fix the connection?

Thanks

No worries mate. Basically it idles like a bag of crap, or has a flat spot around 4000rpm in the range once in a while.

If you pop the bonnet and wiggle the cable connected to the MAF it fixes the problem instantly.

I will have a look in the faq, cheers ginga

Aparently there's some voltage that the maf is supposed to be below. There's something about it on the yahoo group.
