Mallory park trackday, very cheap!!!!

Alright guys,

Due to lack of interest from members of the club organising this there are still spaces available.

It's on 4th June, open pitlane 9am to 5pm, breifing 8.15am sharp, 105db but not as strict as most tracks.

Price is £85 each but minimum number for this price is 5

there is also camping available a £5 for the fri and sat nights if anyone wants
we usually get a wrecked the sat nite :twisted:

I've posted this on the modifiers site so we can combine numbers if need be

Also i am heading of to work on sat but i will give my father all the info and my passwords so if i'm away you can ask him questions.

Alright Dan,

It's the Renault turbo owners club organising it but it looks like this years event will be the last due to lack of support from the members, it's their national day but it seems not many members want to track their cars so it's likely the format will change for future events.
Shame really as they have 1200 members so could be a really good day.

i'm going with the track crx this year as the mappings still nowhere near finished on the lpg gti, wish we still had the rolling road!!!!
Renaultsport were there 2 years ago showing off the range and i went round the outside of a megane R26.6R at Gerrards doing 95ish mph in one of Martyn's pulsars that he lent me, was priceless! the driver wouldn't speak to me after! :twisted:

all chicanes bar the tight one at the hairpin, should be good although i like going through Gerrards at 100mph on the limit :twisted: it was wet/drying last year and i spun infront of my old man there, mind you i was in the sunny zx and he was in his quattro! :lol:

you would have thought so at £80 for a open pitlane trackday its peanuts, its still cheap at £95

Are you talking about the Bus Stop chicane after the hairpin which will not be used but all the other chicanes will be used?

Yep that's right, bus stop is too small for cars
