Master cylinder

I need to change the seals in the master cylinder and im also gonna change the slave i know the slave is easy enough but how hard is to get to and change the master cylinder seals what would i need to do any advice please!!

youll need lots of tea and a spare set of knuckles mate.

i did mine by removing the plenum. took me around a hour or so

You will need to remove the master cylinder to change the seals.

As suggested above, the easiest way seems to be to remove the plenum. That way you can get access to the master cylinder to remove that too.

Personally, I'd change the whole master cylinder assembly for a new one as, they're not that much more expensive than just the seal kit, it will be a straight forward swap so, saving time and, you don't have to worry about a scoured bore in the master cylinder spoiling your day. Just a thought though !!
