Mileage queries on the R?

How does the mileage situation work when the R is imported?

I see so many R's for sale (including mine) with 65k miles on the clock.

This seems not much for a 12-16 year old car. So how does it work? Is the mileage reset on import?

Think its cos the jap have strict emissions so cant keep a car for long

they are limited to 10k km's each year in Japan - so a 10yr old car should only have a max of 60k miles or 100k km's

Well i got mine in 1999 with 40,000 km's on it and it now has a wopping 71,000 Mi on it doesnt sound strange at all for a 93R! :lol:

dont take too much notice of the mileage though, its not really a good indication of condition.

mine came over with 21000 mile on it 5 years ago, Ands now has 60000 miles only.
