MOT Brake testing

If an MOT tester was to put the pulsar on the rolling road to test the brakes, would it be completely obvious to him that the car is 4wd and the pulsar try to drive off the rollers? Or would it happily let the front wheels drive and back wheels sit still?

He should know it's 4WD from looking underneath if he's not a complete loon!
However, they don't actually drive the cars on the brake test your thinking of a RR. On a brake test its the rollers that spin and the machine tests your cars brakes ability to stop them turning. It's advisable that you don't let them test the car on the rollers anyway and get them to use the incar gadget and take it around the block to save your diff.

I did tell them it was 4wd. I just picked up the car and the front wheels seemed to spin up a fair bit in 1st. They did tell me they took it on a road test. Had to take the car straight back down there for a niggly problem but when I get it back this evening I'll have to test out properly and see if they have stuffed the diff up.
