my IC revised pipe run

got fed up with keep melting the smacos on the manifold so ive managed to get a better run on it but keeping it short
bit tight on the front of the alternator but it should be ok

do you have more pics of the piperun?also what kind of intercooler did you fit?pipe diameter?i will fit my evo VIII intercooler and would like to have some ideas on the best pipe run

heres some pics of the original pipe run
its an evo 3 cooler i wanted a later model but couldnt get one for sensible money should fit ok just have to fit the cooler and get it sort the pipe run after

did have to do a fair bit of cutting under the lights though but they havent collapsed yet lol

Ashills, what did you do with that bracket that supports the bonnet release catch? (The one that the horns are mounted on)

Just wondered cos hopefully i'll be fitting an evo 6 intercooler while my car is off the road 8)

luckily there was a bracket on the top of the IC that lines up with one of the holes on the bonnet stay bar and it holds it down perfect
make sure u do put a bolt of some sort through dont want the bonnet coming up LOL

Cheers matey I'm sure i can make up (or bodge :roll: ) some kind of support bracket for it. Dont like the idea of the bonnet flipping up and the cheesegrater staring me in the face :lol:
