Nearest place to tune in Midlands

Hi there,

Just bought my GTIR (superb little motor!) and now I need to find somewhere to get it lowered, de-catted etc and tuned (I don't think it is running as well as it should).

Does anyone know somewhere suitable in the Midlands/Birmingham area?

I have got it booked in at Norris Designs, but I have just seen where they are in relation to where I am!!!

Hope someone can help.

i know there is Geoff Bloors in Nottingham, never been there but rang them a couple of times regarding re-shiming and they seemed to know what they were on about compared to some other companies that i rang.

their number is - 0115 9821803

i know it sound weird but check yell.com to find tuners nearer to u.

Any exhasut centre could decat it for you if you're not confident of doing it yourself.Any decent tyre fitters with laser allignment could lower it too.
What do you mean by tuning ie what do you want to have done?

Try the Motec boys in Aston/Newtown 8)


They are real good and they are holding a rolling road day today for the 200SX girls :p

Skiddusmarkus - not 100% sure on tuning - wanted to get the visuals and sound right and then get some advise from those that know on how is best to make faster - just want quicker acceleration, better looks and loads more noise - not too much to ask is it?!
