New Dumpvalve --> higher boost? wtf?

Hi guys,

another one of my silly questions...

I have just fitted a new Racepro Blaster 2 blow off valve, and its wicked...
The only thing I have realised the boost goes to 11psi now and not the standard 10?

Why is this,
Checked the boost guage and its fine...

Any logic there or I'm tripping again?!
