non start when hot

help please needed as car when hot just turns over the slowly starts on cupple cylinders then all cylinders, idles at about 1200 rpm and starts lovely when cold, drives o k but when you drive it hard it also starts to missfire and cut power???? smells rich, please help as its doin my head in, if you know a good garage neer poole in dorset this would also be helpfull.. cheers, have a good new year

-MAF faulty
-coolant temp' sensor faulty, especially if you smell alot of fuel..

this is sort of what i was thinking, that its stuck in cold start mode and over fueling, where can i find the location of the sensor please, cheers

will probably be easier to check divided voltage at ecu pin and compare to manual

Do a self test instead of guessing then guess from there

are there two sensers and if there is, are thay both connected to the temp guage. as the temp guage is registering. cheers

Two different Sensors. The Red one is the Coolant Temperature Sensor and the other is for the Gauge.
