ok at the start: when the clutch was done ages ago mike noticed the master crank was bent and out of shape.... this started causing the belt to slip which i tightened and now slips again....
now i dont know if that has any relevance but today/this morn came to work and the boss noticed loads of smoke comming from the car ova the fin mainly... i turned of engine and opened bonnet smoke was comming from where the pulleys are not to sure where exactly...
i started her up again and oh dear the engine sounds like the tappetts have gone really rattle the engine wont idle properly went to 2000 then violently down to 1500 up again and then settled got smoke from exhaust and the oil temp was nearly max.... oh **** any ideas?????????[][][][][:0][xx(]
