Oil Cooler Help

Hi, I have come on here for a bit of advice...

I have a 180SX with a SR20 Red Top engine in it. I have tried fitting a normal S14 oil cooler to it bit the problem is the sandwich plate fouls some little bolts that hold the filter housing on. Do GTiRs have this problem and is there an oil cooler that I can get that will fit mine?

Most get a kit which inculdeds the extra place for oil fedd and return pipes, then have filter screwed into that.

try these people
07768100219 and ask aboiut the s14 FMIC kit they do for around £240 you get everything you need .

The S14 kit doesn't fit. The sandwich plate (take off plate, adaptor, whatever) fouls three bolts which are on the engine block. It needs a red top specific one. That is why I was asking on here.

so just ask them for a sandwich plate to suit the GTi R specific SR20det .
they have a few makes available , i know goodridge is one

No but neither should you be portraying it as an unconnected reputable company.

Goodridge just sell the sandwich plates, they dont actually make them :roll:

Their hoses and fittings are the dogs danglies for oil coolers though

Their hoses are great for everything mate ive got them on my oil cooler and fuel system to a degree but im thinking of changing all of them to goodridge braided stuff.
