i have not driven my car much since doing a load of work on it due to lack of brakes    but was talking to someone the other day about oil coolers and was told when warm i will notice my oil pressure gauge will show a bit lower because there is more room for the oil to go in to/travel.....is this right :?:

I'm not certain, but pressure is just a resistance to flow, so I'd have thought that it should be the same as it only diverts from the filter housing to the cooler and then back again, so all the factory resistance is there. Maybe someone can confirm or shoot me down in flames

i'm not convinced myself :D ....but it does kind of make sense because the pressure is just not in the engine it is now down two metres of braided hose and in a oil cooler core aswel therefore there is more area to cover. :?:  l
