oil on drive

before i had my sunday morning thrash i let my car warm up on my drive- as per usual. then for some reason my oil filter decided to not play ball and fall off-how the fu^k it did this ill never know, did the oil 2500 miles ago. anyway as you can imagine 4 liters of the finest on a concrete drive ant cool, so whats the best way to get it off before i get killed by the mrs???

i usually chuck down some sand for a day then pour buckets of really soapy hot water on it - then out with the power washer, usually gets rid of most of it. theres prob some magic stuff from halfrauds that will remove it - just never looked

you can get gunk driveway cleaner.your lucky it never fell off when you were drivind hard.

Gunk driveway cleaner works a treat ;-) , not that I have ever had any old cars that like to bleed on the driveway :roll: :lol:

What, if anything can stop oil staining? We have just had some new pavers laid on the drive, was wondering about using something like that water repellant stuff you paint on brick work. Wondered if it would seal the pavers to stop oil soaking in.

jus spray some washing up liquid over the oil this works a treat an rinse away has always worked for me.
