Can i get away with using an ordinary spray can on the standard oil seperator or should i be using hi temp paint?

Also has anyone tried making a stainless steel manifold heat sheild? Its bloody awkward ive spent hours just making a cardboard template.

It's regular black spray paint on mine ;-)

How long since it was painted? i dont want to have to re-do it regulary.

You can use std aerosol paint no need for hi temp paint.
