part number and price?

hi check my fault codes tonight and its showing 34 DET sensor
does anyone know the part number for this and a price for it?

also if anyone has had one changed via a garage how much labour is involed

last year Nissan quoted me £175 ish just for the knock sensor.

Drop Martyn (VSSIrvine) a pm as he has them brand new for about £45 iirc.

Also, if your handy with the spanners change it yourself. Do a search on here for the how to guide.

Follow the guide I wrote on how to remove the starter motor - http://www.gtiroc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42879&page=2&highlight=starter. The DET sensor is next to the starter and once the starter motor is out the DET sensor is a piece of pi$$ to get to.

you dont have to remove the starter if the Y bracket has been binned
