Please Help

My R`s fuel pump has just pumped its last litre of optimax and has given up! I have been in touch with Nissan and they say £260 i can get 1 from a scrappy for £100 and the R it came from has been there ages. I work for a parts distributor like andrew page and in one of the books it lists a fuel pump for a 200sx (SR20DET) 94-97 i think but i know its list them from 94 onwards are they the same as pulsar fuel pumps ?? or does any1 know where i can get a new one cheaper than £260. I would be gratefull of any ideas cheers John

Buy an uprated Walbro pump for about 90 quid mate.

or just have my old pump but a walbro uprated pump brand new for a 90 quid sounds like a good price to me

Absolutely what they said, but be careful how you fix the filter bag (if you re-use the old one), the little clips can be prone to snapping off if abused!
