Power FC Quick Q...

Can a power FC for a SR20DET (200sx) be mapped for the gtir? Am I right in thinking that its just the base map that is different for a 200 and a gtir? Just that theres plenty of 200sx units about for reasonable money, and not many about for the R, and when you find one they are crazy money!!
Also what other bits do you need to actually map it yourself?

Still waiting on some shims!
Don't use the 200SX one... Its all been discussed before..

£480 isn't much for a GTiR Specific PowerFC...

To map it yourself you will need a FC Commander, Datalogit kit, Laptop, Wideband Lamda

Welcome to the land of the R's.

The RNN14 SR20DET Power FC is specific to the R, I think it's basically an SR20DET (200SX) one thats adapted by A.P. Engineering (Apexi sister company) this is why it's more expensive.

If you think £500 odd is restrictively expensive for the ECU then I suggest you think again and choose another car as things don't get any better, easier or cheaper.

Just the Datalogit kit and Wideband lamda will set you back £500 +

 Just one of the many benifits of being a paid up member
