PROBLEM WITH MY BRAKES

problem is not with my gtir but with my sunny 1.4. was pulling into a car park, and the brake pedal went all loose as if thier was air in the system. stoped the car, had a look and saw want seems to be brake fluid leaking from the rear passenger side. Basically had to drive home for a couple of mile without brakes and using the handbrake to stop which was fun. :roll: .

Took the wheel off, and saw brake fluid everywhere but cant pinpoint where its coming from. anyone got any ideas on coomon problems with the brake parts for these cars?

burst pipe by the looks of the pics the fluid is coming from the chassis area if its coming from the brake drum the wheel cylinder piston seals have failled

That red pipe looks scagged to me.

Fill up the fluid resevoir and get someone to pump the pedal whilst you watch from underneath.

Put some good goggles on first though eh! :)
