i have the standerd gauges in and at full boost it reads 500 mmHg

Standard gauges are there only for decoration ;-)

What's been done to the car?

just a full s/s exhaust / de cateded / upgraded plugs and leads /hks air filter

0.65 bar i think is the std boost but don't quote me on that as it has been soooooo long since i had a nice reliable car running std boost.
