does anyone know wat a normal oil pressure should be roughly in BAR not on the standard gauges ?? as i have fitted some new gauges for my r for boost and oil pressure

mine seems to sit between 50-60psi which is 3.5-4bar approx

is that on tick over when warm or when running

Oil pressures with engine running and under no load:-

Oil pressure should be more than 0.98bar at idle
Oil pressure should be 3.5-4.5bar at 3200rpm

mines running just over two bar at idle and about 6 bar ish at 3500 rpm
so this is ok then

6 bar should be okay but sounds a bit high, normally 4-4.5.
check your oil isnt overfilled as this causese higher oil pressure

mine sits at 3 bar when idling
and when accelerating hard usually hits 5.5 - 6 bar
and when just driving normally goes to 4 - 4.5 bar

must be just a good engine
