re mapping

sorry it might be a stupid question, i just had my gtir engine rebuild it had trust pistons in there which got damaged, so had to replace them. i replaced it with CP's compression rate 8:5:1 cos trust are too expensive for me.

i gotta hks fcon in there which cannot get mapped in this country apparently,
found that out after speaking to abbey motors. its fcon v which is the silver box.

i need to know will i need to remap the fcon to suit these new pistons.

what is a cheaper option (not looking forward to buy new fcon)

my car runs with a td06 turbo

Depends what the compression of the engine before and now is...

this is the car that was for sale on ebay with a blown engine a while back if i remeber right

the car will need mapping as the last time i heard it was detting like fook as it has not been mapped since inported

thats probley the reson it had damaged pistons in the first place as det was happening

and i spoke to the bloke and he told me it was running 450whp which was not possible from that turbo and is apparently running a 2.2 strokler kit

is it black with siver 15" wheels and looks like it needs lowering loads
the last time i heard it was in the lincolnshire area

but thats the only one i can think of and the bloke didnt have it long before it blew up
