Rear brake upgrade question?

Just an odd question really , does anyone know if there are 300mm rear discs (or fronts I guess ) that are O/E for another make/model of car that will fit the stud pattern as the gtir?. As I was wondering, could I fit a larger set of rear discs with the use of the say the “hi spec mounting bracket kit” or something similar , Then mounting my stock rear callipers and pads.

I am just looking at a cheaper way to upgrade my rear brakes.

I did something similar with my old CRX and used MG 260 front brakes set up and they worked a treat.

Thanks in advance. I have had a bit of a search and can’t find much. But I do admit I am not great with a PC.

I am sure that many drake disks with 4x100 pattern will fit the R. Depending on the thickness, depth and diameter of the disk, you would have to fabricate your own brackets for the calipers.
