removing pistons

can this be done on our engines from underneath? ie removing the big ends and taking them out from the sump? or is it a full on engine strip job?
if you can take them out through the sump can they be put back in the same way of does the head have to come off to put them in through the top? cheers!

No they have to come out from the top
Its not a to bad a job to do it in situ just requires the head and sump removing to do it

cheers, thats what i fort, if the heads coming off to do the job then a thicker HG may as well be put back on then!
